The first ever fill up cup
Not only was the Fill Up Cup meant to serve as the perfect container for any beverage, but also as a sign of the culture and voice of The City Forum. The Fill Up Cup was designed to increase brand recall and serve as a mobile marketing tool. We focused on conveying brand identity with a combination of fun and clever copy on a sleek modern design.
Partnering with Pepsi to work on this cup was a bonus. Using an established identifier (the Pepsi Globe) in the cup's design gave us immediate street cred. But permitting our design to cover the majority of the cup allowed us to convey the brand message and make the family-owned business not look like a sell-out.
Finally, to add a sense of urgency and exclusivity to the signature cup, we did limited runs of each design. Each batch of fill up cups features different copy and color palettes, making them not only phenomenal beverage chauffeurs but also collector’s items.
